
Dorothy H. Rowe, MD
Pediatric SurgeonDr. Dorothy Rowe is a native of the Washington D.C. area. She graduated Cum Laude from Harvard University in 1988. She then spent two years at the National Institute of Health (NIH) as a research fellow. She attended medical school at Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York and was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Dr. Rowe graduated from medical school in 1994.
She went on to a Residency in General Surgery at Columbia University and spent two years completing a combined research/ECMO fellowship at the Babies and Children’s Hospital of New York. She completed a Pediatric Surgery Fellowship in June, 2003 at the Children’s Hospital of New York.
Dr. Rowe is board certified in General Surgery and Pediatric Surgery by the American Board of Surgery. She is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha National Honor Society and the American Pediatric Surgical Association. She is a Fellow with the American College of Surgeons and the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is actively involved with the Reproductive Anomalies/Disorders of Sex Development Clinic at Phoenix Children’s Hospital, a clinic devoted to providing a multidisciplinary approach to care for patients with genitourinary disorders.
Dr. Rowe moved to the Phoenix area and joined Pediatric Surgeons of Phoenix in 2003. Her and her husband enjoy skiing, hiking, and reading.
